Go through the steps mentioned below for Kodak printer cleaning print head:

1. Firstly, turn on your Kodak printer and then open the top cover. After you open the top cover, you need to wait for a couple of seconds.

2. In the next step, unplug the cord from the back of the Kodak printer. Also, remove the cord from the wall.

3. After unplugging the cords, you need to turn off your printer  to keep the print cartridge in an appropriate location.

4. Next, lift the printhead latch that houses the print cartridges. After this, pull the printhead out of the slot.

5. Take a soft cloth and wipe the contact pads on the printhead. Don’t wipe the nozzles present on the bottom of the printhead as this can cause serious damage to the printer.

6. Now take some distilled water and dip a cotton cloth in that water.  By using that wet cloth, wipe the contact pads again because ink residue can present there.

7. Place the printhead on a paper towel and make sure that nozzles are not touching paper.

9.  After cleaning everything, plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and another cord into the rear side of the printer. Now, the control panel will display a “Printhead is missing” message.

10. Put the printhead in the appropriate slot and gently press down. Also, ascertain you have placed the printhead at the right location.
